Abstract:

There is no doubt that the textbook is of great importance in education publishing. In order to do well in education publishing, textbook editors must have a deep understanding of the textbook, including its character of thoughts, time, scientic nature, humanity, appropriateness and flexibility. Improving the comprehensive quality of textbook editors is the precondition and guarantee of textbook editing. Besides having the deserving capability of other book editors, textbook editors are expected to grow into thoughtful editors of scholar type. With scientific and humanistic spirits, they will form a comprehensive view. They can be competent for the work of training and have strong communication ability. In digital publishing trend, textbook editors are supposed to know how to make use of new technology and new media as well.
