Research on Book Publishing Business Models of Pearson Education Group in the Digital Age

Abstract:

Digital transformation has led Pearson Education Group (PEG) to make a radical shift from a traditional print publisher to a digital content and services provider. Today PEG is committed to providing variety of products by adding multimedia contents into learning system aiming at student clientele, and to achieving large-scale  personalized custom publishing by its online book-building system. By running content resources on the online platform, PEG has produced consistent and considerable growth on the sales of paper books and has created new profit models.
