Abstract:

A dynamic model that was used to evaluate the academic level of social science journals was developed according to the characteristics of social science journals through introducing new parameters and adjusting the dynamically numerical model to evaluate the academic impact of science and technology journals developed by He Xuefeng et al. The empirical analysis on 12 kinds of higher education journals as Chinese core journals of Beijing University and CSSCI source journals was performed by use of the dynamic model. The data used in the analysis originated in China Citation Database (CCD) and Annual Report for Chinese Academic Journal Impact Factors (Social Sciences) from 2008 to 2011. The results showed that the dynamic model. developed by us could promote social science journals to observe themselves dynamically and make the assessment of journal management more scientific, comprehensive, fair.
