Abstract:
As the digital era arrives, the conventional market of university textbooks is losing its momentum after rapid growth and massive expansions for the last decade.In this context,it is better for the textbook editors to be forward-looking and reflect on applying digital revolutions to university textbooks editing while preserving the traditional way.The fundamental factors textbook editors should take into consideration for textbook digitalization including setting out from both macroscopic and microscopic aspects, extending their visions on the education industry chain and value chain in a broader and wider view, and making continuous efforts in adapting to innovative thinking pattern and technical capacity.
