Abstract:
As one of the key figures of the Chinese Communist Party, Mao Zedong realized that the press publicity played an important role in social reformation. He was active in editing newspapers and periodicals from 1919 to 1926. During this period, his editorial thoughts was shaping and developing. Mao Zedong regarded running newspaper as powerful means of serving politics. He paid high attention on the newspaper review, the publicity, the truth and the masses view. Nowadays, though times change, Mao Zedong’s editorial thoughts are still valuable for China modern journalism.
