Abstract:
According to Woodruff’s customer value hierarchy model, conduct a systematic literature review of 69 papers in the research field of science and technology information user values. Demonstrate a descriptive statistics including the research outputs’yearly distribution, country distribution, main journals and so on. Then discuss about the attribute-based user values, regarding to the order of users’information using, than can be divided into three types : extended values, form values and core values. Moreover, five elements of the consequence-based value are identified, i.e. monetary value, functional value, epistemic/ emotional value, social value and antecedent effect of conditional value. Finally, a conceptual framework is proposed to address the user values of science and technology information.
