Abstract:

The peer reviewer system is believed to be an important mechanism which can both ensure the quality of the academic journal and promote the academic prosperity. There is rather a substitutional relation than a complemental relation between editors review and peers review. Likewise, professional proofreading cannot replace editor’s proofreading; on the contrary, academic editors are taking the place of professional proofreaders. On the peer reviewer system background, the academic editor is asked to reconsider his professional orientation so that he can be a splendid first reviewer, an excellent academic researcher, an outstanding proof-reader, a remarkable academic liaison and a skilled academic information pusher.
