摘要:

作为20 世纪中国最重要的出版机构商务印书馆的掌舵人,王云五身在出版,情系文化。他的出版理
念体现在:出版的目的在于“中国文明之再造”;出版要“有功文化,纵有亏损,亦义不容辞”;出版机构“必
须先能自立,才能对社会有贡献”。王云五的出版理念为当下出版企业改革与发展树立了榜样,提供了借鉴:出
版要明确社会效益第一,社会价值优先;出版要实现社会效益和经济效益相统一;出版企业要通过深化改革自
立自强。

Abstract:

As the helm of the most important Chinese publishing organization in the 20th Century, namely
the Commercial Press, Wang Yunwu was engaged in publishing and he had deep love for culture. His
publishing philosophy is reflected in that the purpose of publication is the reconstruction of Chinese civilization.
Besides, Wang promoted that if publishing is beneficial to culture, we should be incumbent upon the publishing
undertakings regardless of any loss. He also proposed that only being independent can publishing organization
make contributions to the society. Wang Yunwu’s publishing philosophy has not only established a model but
also provided a lesson for the current reform and development of publishing enterprises; that is, publication
should absolutely give priority to social benefits and values, and achieve a balance between social and economic
benefits. Furthermore, publishing enterprises also need to strengthen self-reliance through deepening reform.
