Abstract:

　In recent ten years， along with the development of the information dissemination digitization， and
the pace of integration of Internet， radio networks and telecommunications networks accelerates， the form of
periodical publication is gradually changing from traditional paper publishing to digital ones. Researchers have
begun to regard periodical digitization as an important research topic， and has made a series of new progress.
This paper makes a comprehensive review of five aspects， namely the current situation and problems of
periodical digitization， digital transformation of traditional journals， the profit model of periodical digitization
and the copyright of periodical digitization.
