Abstract:

Based on the theoretical framework of new quality productive forces and from the perspective of publishing studies, this paper takes 300 articles with over 100,000 views published by the WeChat official account of the Wuhan Bureau of Culture and Tourism from 2023 to 2025 as the core sample. By adopting case study, content analysis, and literature research methods, this study systematically analyzes the core attributes of government new media in culture and tourism as a carrier for digital dissemination of government information, and deconstructs the internal mechanism through which new quality productive forces empower content production and communication. Furthermore, it identifies existing problems in current practices, such as insufficient data mining, superficial cultural translation, and fragmented technology application. And, it proposes optimization paths featuring data-driven strategies, deep technological integration, institutional guarantees, and ecological co-construction. This study aims to provide practical references for empowering the high-quality development of government new media in culture and tourism through new quality productive forces, while enriching the research dimensions of digital dissemination of government information from the perspective of publishing studies.
