Abstract:

The problems of the English textbook compilation for agricultural college non-English major postgraduate are as follows: compilation concept is language-knowledge-centered, textbook themes are highly the same, textbook framework
is singular, textbook use is for generalization. To problems, the suggestions are put forward: to adhere to the compilation
concept of the comprehensive ability of using English as standard, to highlight the specialization of textbook materials selection, to clear the hierarchy of textbook materials difficulty, to strengthen the three-dimension of textbook framework,
and to pay attention to the organic cohesion between textbooks.
