Abstract: Scholastic attainments and academic influence of researchers of social science in local university can be reflected by CSSCI. The quantities, impacts and academic distributions of both CSSCI of Shanxi Province and that of Hubei Province were comparatively analyzed in the paper. The corresponding strategies were proposed through the following aspects— improving the quality of journals, proceeding reform of system, enhancing vigor of business development, modifying operating modes and establishing strict elimination mechanism etc.
