Abstract:

In the pattern of newspaper industry in China, metropolitan daily has always occupied a large proportion in the newspaper industry market by virtue of its fresh & alive contents, civilian perspectives and reforming & innovative forms. This paper, taking special contents in 2014 of Seven Investigations column of Sunday Weekly of Shanghai Morning Post as examples, analyzes how Sunday Weekly of Metropolitan Daily creates a quality column. The author believes that Sunday Weekly of Metropolitan Daily can record urban culture and living views of the public from the perspective of “civilian interest”.
