Abstract:

Hunan has a long history of publishing, it is reliable that the ceremonial era of publishing is the Song Dynasty. After the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasty, Hunan Publishing left a wealth of historical data, it is necessary to collect the modern and ancient Hunan publication historical data. Hunan Province Publication Chronicles which publishied in the 1980s and 1990s and related books focus on the revolutionary historical data’s excavation, consolidation, while pay attention to the official and private publishing historical data during the late Qing Dynasty and Republic of China. 2010s, there are more than 10 species concerned Hunan Publishing historical data in the Hu Xiang Library.These voluminous books pay more attention to the firsthand information’ collection, collecting range from book carving in ancient Hunan to modern Hunan publishing , printing , distribution, so these voluminous books have very high value. Above-mentioned books provide important resources for large chronicles’compilation and publishing practice nowadays.
