Abstract:

According to the DOAJ indexed data about open access journals from 2002 to 2013, the authors analyze the
development status and the issues faced by open access journals, namely its academic impacts, quality control issue and
sustainability. Finally, point out two measures for Chinese social scientific journals to adopt some OA davantages: first,
partially combination of open access; second, constructing OA institutional repositories for them.
