Abstract:

Vulgar essay titlescanbeseenoften in books. They makethe readers lose interest as they are intended to be bluffing,
misleading or even deceitful. If things go on like this, it will estrange the readers from books as a result. What should
editors do to deal with this problem? Many years of editing experience helps me come to discover that vulgar titles usually
have characteristics of being biased, exaggerating or gloomy. Therefore, if we want to put the titles right, we need to
make sure that there is no bias, no exaggeration, and no gloominess in the headlines. In other words, we must handle
them in an objective, modest and positive way.
