Abstract:

The global scientific publishing demonstrates new development tendencies of data-intensiveness, semantization, visualization and interactivity. Intensive data build a basic environment for future scientific publishing and facilitate
the paradigm shift of science itself; semantic publishing enhances meaning of scientific publications via makups, tags and
machine-readable data;visualization technology presents different levels of research results, namely publication sections,
publication frameworks and literature networks in more intuitive ways, which continually improves the efficiency and effects of scientific communication; and interactive platforms, now feature as academic wiki publications and some new
types of peer-review, are extensions of“ invisible colleges” on the Internet and also permeate official scientific communication, which boost the openness, sharing and communication of scientific data and information from the readers and
users’ perspective.
