Abstract:

The various intellectual property rights allow people to protect the economic loss from piracy， infringement
and theft. This article discusses these economic losses and different impacts on print and virtual work. The authors analyzed
changes of cost， supply and demand caused by the illegal use of media work， and they further suggested that the negative
impacts could be avoided and the virtual work may have less loss than the print work from piracy， infringement and theft.
