Abstract:

Based on the analysis of the professional requirements and social trends for ancient book restoration,
this paper suggested establishing the professional certification systems for ancient book restoration as soon as possible,
which includes the certification for ancient restoration practitioners, the evaluation of admittance qualification for the
ancient book restoration units and the trade association of ancient book restoration.
