Abstract: This paper criticizes the latest amendment of the Chinese Copyright Law in changing 
legally identified categories of copyright subject object into open categories, and assesses the 
advantages and the need for improvement in the fair use of making available accessible formats 
of works for persons with print disability, and finally suggests that the Chinese Legislatures issue 
legislative reports or explanatory normative documents when enacting and revising laws and 
regulations in the future.
