Abstract:

Point out that speedy knowledge transmission is an important mission of Open Access (OA)
Journals; and then on the basis of defining the concept of OA Journals’ knowledge transmission efficacy,
analyze the main contributory factors behind from the perspectives of journals’ efficacy, media’s efficacy and
audience’s efficacy; finally suggest four countermeasures from three respects, namely publication quality,
audience review, audience analysis and communication means.
