Abstract:

This paper draws some design rules by researching different cover design of classical literary masterpiece A Dream of Red Mansions. Firstly, form should conform to content.Secondly, graphics and color can’t be replaced. Thirdly, cover design should be concise and implicit. Besides, the printed material and the printing way should be suitable for the book.
