Abstract:

In the 1920s~30s, many small and medium-seized bookstores emerged, which added a lively atmosphere
to the publishing indusry at that time. The Crescent Bookstore was just one of them. Because of the common inclination,
the colleagues aggregated together, and depending on the more money and manpower, they published many shining
works in the Chinese modern literature history. Due to the poor management, the separation of cultural ideal in the collegues and some other various reasons, the Crescent Bookstore had to end with closing the door, but all the efforts it
made had won a place for itslef in the contemporary culture publishing industry.
