Abstract:

 Firstly, the paper analyzes the publishing models of e-book at home and abroad, and outlines the characteristics of libraries-oriented, personal services, as well as hybrid publishing models. Secondly, it summarizes two new
publishing models of e-book: on-demand print, instant issue. Lastly, it discusses the methods and properties of copyrights
protection, such as legal means, open license agreement and technical measures.
