Abstract:

Analyzising the national book reading survey, we found that: digital reading will inevitably interfere with
retail paper books. Therefore, libraries ought to be the main sale object instead of the individuals, presses should
establish the symbiotic co-prosperity relations with libraries. Finally, we supply four development strategies to presses such
as studying the needs of the library and its patrons, joining the reading promotion activities, publishing books of library
science and catalogs of libraries, hireing graduates of library science.
