Abstract:

Roughly divides journal websites into three categories, namely, group websites, single websites and the ones
linked to large database websites. We analyzes 17 general-interests cultural journal websites in Hubei Province from the
following several dimensions: the match degree between the design styles of the websites and the journals’ features; the
integrity and richness of the websites’ contents; interaction with readers and other service information. At last, this paper
puts forward some suggestions for the journal websites development, such as, the positioning, construction, promotion,
management, maintenance, interactive information and so on.
