Abstract:

Data show that the digital publishing base clusters have become a key for the development of digital publishing industry in recent years.Based on the SCP theoretical framework,the paper analyzes the market converged structure of concentration,product differentiation and barriers to entry,as well as the market integration acts of the industrial chain recombinant extending integration in technology, business and marketing, etc.,which formed by “Six Suppliers”in clusters with an example of 12 National Digital Publishing Bases.We also make an empirical analysis of the base clusters market convergence performance illustrated by the case of Zhangjiang Base. It is confirmed that industrial integration driven by the hi-tech is the necessity for the development of digital publishing base clusters.
