Abstract:

There is so large number of academic journals that the reform of them is very difficult. We need to find different
publishing models and developing paths. The chief editors plays a key role in selecting developing paths. Facing with the challenges
and opportunities, they should have some changes. First, their work role should be changed from the caretaker to entrepreneur.
Second, their work focus should be changed from the evaluation of the articles to the journal plotting. Third, their work style
should be changed from the scientific research type to the business type.
