Abstract:

Because of being listed in the stock market, listed publishing enterprises have some special advantages, but also faced with new challenges. Combining those and the basic nature of the status quo of China’s
publishing industry, the paper puts forward that in order to develop further, China’s listed publishing enterprises should
focus on improving the standardization of corporate governance structure and system, strengthening management capacity
and profitability, and the government should provide appropriate macro-control policies and supports.
