Abstract:

The modernization of editing is a prerequisite for the development of STM journals. How to reform the
traditional work flow to synchronize compiling, composing and proofreading is an urgent problem to solve, among which
the choice of the makeup software is very important. The LaTeX is a makeup system developed for the makeup of STM
journals, which has the advantage of truly synchronizing compiling, composing and proofreading; improving the esthetic
sense of the layouts; enabling authors to proofreading their contributions online; making it possible to use full text online,
etc.
