Abstract:

Based on the definitions of Open Access journals and knowledge-dissemination system of Open Access journals, this paper analyzes the elements, structures and functions of the knowledgedissemination system of Open Access journals. It suggests that compared with knowledge-dissemination system of traditional academic journals, knowledge-dissemination system of Open Access journals presents the structures of Y-and-star-topology, chain-and-ring-topology and fully-connected-topology due to its characteristics of Internet Communication and open access, and has the function of knowledge-dissemination, quality-control and registration-archiving.
