Abstract:

The Women Monthly is one of the most important women’ s magazines in 1930s, which was
founded by Huang Xinmin to save the country and wake women up, and it is famous for its idealism and different
from business journals and the magazines founded by groups. The paper has discussed how the magazine
discourse women rights through overall view, and analyze the origin and the effect about its discourse.
