Abstract:

Based on the example of Baidu encyclopedia, this essay discusses the editing rules in progress and the features
of online interactive encyclopedias in comparison with the editing rules of traditional ones. The rules are specifically divided
into three categories: ethics rules, work rules and technical rules. Online interactive encyclopedias have widespread influence
among young netizens, but there still exist some disadvantages in the content of their entries. Traditional dictionary publishers
and users of Baidu entries should not only pay attention to how to perfect the editing rules of online terms, but also should
keep an eye on establishing an evaluation standard .
