Abstract: [Abstract]　The academic publication of public emergencies is one of the core competencies of science and technological journals as well as the embodiment of their social responsibility. Adopting the methods of content analysis and case study， this thesis takes COVID-19 OA publication of science and technological journals as an example to analyze the deficiencies of the publication of public emergencies in science and technological journals in China. Given the fact that the concept of social responsibility of science and technological journals has not yet been popularized in China， it is necessary to strengthen the publication and planning consciousness of public emergencies， establish the preparedness mechanism of public emergencies publication， attach great importance to science popularization and dissemination of science and technological journals， take advantage of integrated publication to enhance social communication responsibility， and do a good job of the academic publication in public emergencies so as to improve China’s academic discourse power.
