Abstract: [Abstract]　Many factors may cause defects of the citation of academic journals of social sciences, and the major defects include false reference to or even absence of the sources, incomplete or false reference to or improper paraphrase of the cited content, invalid format of citation, violation of copyright laws, etc.. Removal of these defects requires the editors be responsible and diligent enough through cross-proofreading, afterreading and so on.
