Abstract:

In the era of increasingly sophisticated professional division of labor, under the general
background of journal classification, the only feasible way for university comprehensive journals (social
sciences edition) out of the predicament is professional and characteristic development of publications. In
view of it, insiders in periodical circle have carried out various explorations. Route choices of professional
development and characteristic development for social science publications include giving full play to the
initiative of the chief editor in sponsoring the journal, sparing no efforts in promoting scholarly and professional
transformation of editors, integrating resources compiling and publicizing journals collectively as well as
adopting social managing and operating way to run the editorial department.
