Abstract:

The article analyzes the philosophical connotations of editing work in digital publishing era as
follows: the unity of the subjective world and the objective world; contradiction movements as driving forces
for the development of editing work; the essence of to select, process and create the contents of publications.
It also expounds philosophical significance of editing work in digital publishing era as follows: reification of
intellectual creations which demonstrating progressiveness; optimization of information knowledge which
manifesting expertise; translation of effectiveness which revealing cultural significance.
