Abstract:

 In order to clarify property ownership and to establish a standard corporate governance structure, university presses need to deepen the reform of property rights system and realize ownership diversification. During the process of furthering ownership diversification, university presses should guarantee the safety of state-owned assets, promote the rational allocation of property rights among investors, and optimize enterprise management as well as the allocation of publishing resources，etc. Ownership diversification can be achieved mainly through introducing strategic investors, with supplementary approaches of employee stock ownership plan and management buyouts.
