Studies on Business Model of Popular Science Periodicals Based on Knowledge Service

摘要:

从大数据环境下读者获取决策所需知识的困扰出发, 提出科普期刊应该承担为读者日常决策提供公
正、 权威、 准确知识的责任, 进而分析我国科普期刊面临的困境及其原因, 并有针对性地提出以知识服务为核
心的办刊模式, 最后将该模式应用到日常生活中常见的若干决策过程中, 用案例说明科普期刊如何基于知识服
务进行内容策划。

Abstract:

Firstly, this paper described the helpless situation that readers often face to get the sufficient
knowledge supporting their decision-making in spite of big data environment, and suggested Popular
Science Periodicals(PSP) is supposed to provide the accurate, authentic and effective knowledge for
readers; secondly, with analysis of PSP’s struggling situation and the root cause, the author proposed the
business model focus on knowledge service; at last, it applied this model to some decision making cases in
our daily life and demonstrated how PSP can plan their content based on knowledge service.
