Cai Xuejian is a famous editor who is not only good at editing practice but also theoretical research on
publishing. The research on the idea of editing quality is the most important part of his editing theory. This paper analyszs
his idea of editing quality from his key idea, editing thought, editing style, editing standard, and so on.
