Abstract:

 This paper discusses the threefold character of editors' participation in academic activities. Editors involved in
academic activities should have these three qualities: having both an insight into the academic activities and a full perspective
from the outside; having both humanistic sentiments and the character of scholarly businessman; being wise to the ways of the
world but also sticking to principles.
